Quimeras araucanas

The series connects the araucarias forests landscapes that exists in Brazil, Chile and Argentina. In the past they were part of a same and colossal ecosystem on the Gondwana era. The series is created with images in which the great landscape continuum of South American nature envisions dialogue and the value of an extensive, continental path, rather than an appreciation of insulated natural niches. Beauty can be extensive: it can exist without a boundary of time and space.

A série conecta as araucarias brasileiras com as existentes no Chile e Argentina. Hoje diferenciadas, elas já fizeram parte de um único e grande ecossistema na era Gondwana. A série é elaborada para criar imagens em que o grande continuum paisagístico da natureza da América meridional, mais do que a valorização insular de nichos naturais, espelhe o diálogo e a apreciação de um percurso extenso de paisagem continental. A beleza pode ser extensa: ela pode existir sem fronteira de tempo e espaços.
